About Marion Fire Department
Marion Fire Department was established in 1931 as an all volunteer department. MFD proudly serves a population of 12,345. We are a combination department with 4 full time (hired in 2008) and 35 paid on call firefighters. We respond to around 750 fire, rescue and first responder calls annually. We have an ISO Fire Protection Class Rating of 3.
